Landing straight in at the deep end, Rubedo Walker began his journey with a debut signing to Masters at Work legend Kenny Dope’s imprint, Dope Wax Records, quickly rising to the Top 10 Tech House Downloads Chart. His Come Back Baby (Problem Mix) was championed by Seth Troxler at DC10 Ibiza, featured by Mr Afterparty, highlighted by Sam Divine on Defected in the House Radio, and celebrated as one of the Top 5 Tracks of the Summer in Ibiza Ushuaia Magazine. Rubedo has also been featured on Monki’s Radio show for Defected, plus John Digweed’s Transitions.
Born through alchemy, Rubedo Walker is the deeper, emotive expression of Lindz Taylor — a sound merging deep and uplifting emotive house, tribal rhythms, and groove-laden techno, often blending breaks and electro for a cinematic journey. His sets tell a story, take you on a journey that is both spiritual and connected to the audience.
Before Rubedo Walker, Lindz was one half of 2 Good Souls, a duo that helped define an era of deep, afro underground house. Their work earned a three-year residency at London’s Ministry of Sound, alongside performances at Iconic Pacha, Egg, Fire & Lightbox venues, and major festivals across Europe, Asia, and Ibiza’s Sunstrip of Cafe Del Mar with Clockwork Orange. Sharing line-ups with Moby, Danny Rampling, Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, and more. His productions received support on BBC Radio 1. Having produced with Kele Le Roc, Roland Clarke, Marc Evans, and Kathy Brown, with releases on New York’s iconic labels Nervous Records, King Street Sounds, and Roger Sanchez’s Stealth imprint.
Today, Rubedo Walker hosts “Time to Rise” every Sunday morning on Shine 87.9 DAB, proudly sponsored by OxyPet. His loyal listeners tune in weekly for a journey through deep, melodic, and emotive sounds, bridging the worlds of Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Housem, and rare Balearic treasures. Each show is crafted to awaken energy, uplift mood, and reconnect listeners with the soul of electronic music.
Following his success with Dope Wax, Rubedo Walker is now collaborating with No Mad Karma, combining the sound of Kazakhstan with Preston Heyman — the renowned drummer for Kate Bush, Massive Attack’s “Unfinished Sympathy,” and Tin Tin Out. He is also working closely with visual artist Habs Akram, fusing music, art, and immersive visuals through his new concept OOM (Out of Mind). In this experiential performance, intuition, sound, and visual storytelling merge to create a transformative space for the audience.
Rubedo’s story is one of resonance and rebirth every time. From 12-hour sets, his music reflects a life lived fully, emotively and layered. Whether behind the decks, on the airwaves, or in the studio, Rubedo Walker embodies connection through sound, and that music isn’t just heard, it’s felt.
